Shore Country Day School is excited to partner with Vinci STEAM Educations to offer robotics programming at Summer Shore 2024!
iSTEAM Robotics programming can be registered for as a half day experience only. If you’re looking for a full day experience for your child, you can register for both iSTEAM and a half day of Summer Shore Day Camp in order to create a full day schedule! All iSTEAM morning sessions are for children aged 5 through 7. Afternoon sessions are for children aged 7 through 11. The iSTEAM experience will be different each week and is guided by one of three different courses: Vex 123, Animals and Technology, or Vex GO.

Ignite your child's creativity this summer at our robotics camp, perfect for children ages 5 through 7! This program is all about making learning fun. We’ll use simple, engaging activities to teach campers the basics of coding and robotics. Campers get to play with robots, solve puzzles, and experience multiple challenges. Join us for our engaging "Animals and Technology" class, tailor-made for inquisitive 5 through 7 year olds! This one-of-a-kind class offers an exciting exploration of animals from land, air, and sea and how they inspire incredible technological advances. What makes each class special is a different theme every day, allowing kids to delve into various aspects of how technology impacts our everyday lives. Through hands-on, project-based activities, children will not only learn but also build and problem-solve, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of nature and technology. It’s an ideal playground for young minds to discover, create, and grow, all while enjoying a unique theme in every session!

Our Vex Go program is perfect for 7 through 11-year-olds who love to build, create, and solve problems! We make learning about science and technology exciting through easy and enjoyable projects. Campers get to work with their own hands, building cool objects and solving puzzles. This program is all about learning by doing, which means your child will be actively involved in every step. They'll tackle projects and challenges that are just right for their age, boosting their confidence and skills in a friendly, supportive environment. It's the perfect place for young learners to grow, make friends, and have a blast exploring the world of STEM!

- Cancellation Fee: there will be a $100.00 fee for any registration cancellations
