The Shore Fund

The Shore Fund is the cornerstone of all fundraising programs at Shore Country Day School. The cost of educating a student at Shore is not fully covered by tuition, making The Shore Fund critical to day-to-day operations. As with all independent schools, we rely on annual support to help fund the people, projects, and programs that make Shore the extraordinary school it is today.

Annual support from all members of the Shore Country Day School community helps us to continue our tradition of inspiring Shore students to embrace academic challenge with character and compassion. Every gift to The Shore Fund, no matter the size, ensures an exceptional experience for every Shore student, every year.

As a valued member of our community, we invite you to join other generous donors to help us continue our tradition of excellence. We appreciate your consideration and would be happy to share with you the many ways The Shore Fund ensures we continue  to provide an unparalleled education experience for our students.

Community support of The Shore Fund each year provides the margin of excellence and quality of programming and facilities that are paramount to a Shore education.
Each donor to The Shore Fund has the opportunity to indicate which of the following components of the school's mission they would like their gift to support:

Areas of Greatest Need    Supports the full range of funding needs, and gives the school the maximum flexibility for the deployment of Shore Fund dollars to its highest priorities. Will have the most significant impact on the school and its students.
Arts Funds Shore’s creative arts programming on campus, including drama, music, and visual arts. Funding supports visiting artist programs, and the purchase of professional materials, costumes, and instruments.
Athletics Allows students to participate in competitive athletic programming, which is an integral part of a Shore education. Funding supports team travel, equipment, and uniform costs.
Faculty & Staff Provides funding to attract and retain the finest teachers and staff, and to support them with enhanced professional development opportunities.
Technology Provides funding for the infrastructure behind Shore’s state-of-the-art learning, including laptops and tablets, support and troubleshooting, network security, and hardware and software upgrades.
