Get toKnow Us

To really know Shore, we encourage every family to see the campus (virtually or in-person), connect with our community (families, faculty, and leadership), and join our open houses or other virtual events. We are thrilled to offer a variety of ways for families to learn about our programs and engage with the Shore community. Please review these opportunities below. Our goal is for each family to feel well-informed and comfortably prepared to make an enrollment decision at the end of the admissions process.

  • Virtual Visit

If you are just beginning your discovery of Shore, we invite you to browse the website, take a virtual tour, and view our videos as a starting point. You will see smiles, curiosity, and the joy of learning, and perhaps most importantly, you will hear real stories and experiences from those who know us best.
  • On-Campus Tour

We are pleased to offer in-person tours (optional) to adults who are masked and vaccinated. Tours typically last an hour, and we pair you with a Parent Ambassador who is eager to answer your questions and share insights about Shore. Following the tour, you’ll briefly meet with a member of the Admissions team. Join us on campus by scheduling your tour here.
  • “Windows into Shore” with Clair Ward

Shore’s Head of School, Clair Ward, is excited to continue her “Windows into Shore” virtual conversations with families on select Fridays from 9:30 - 10:15 a.m. These gatherings are limited in size and offer an intimate setting for you to connect with school leadership, ask questions, and discuss any topic on your mind as you consider the next steps for your child’s education journey. Please reserve your spot now. Advanced registration is required.
  • All-School Open Houses

Our all-school open houses are geared towards families interested in any grade, Pre-K through Grade 9. Spanning both Lower and Upper School, these virtual events provide prospective families with a broad overview of all aspects of Shore. In addition to hearing from faculty, families will hear from students and families about their experiences being part of the Shore community. Open House dates:
  • Grade-Specific Information Sessions

In addition to the open houses, parents should consider joining us for our virtual information sessions where we will focus on a subset of grades. Learn more about what life at Shore would look like for your child, experience the energy of our teachers, hear about the programs and learning strategies we use in the classroom, and discover what makes Shore the special place it is.
