Sydney Atkins '98
Biography
Sydney is a Shore alumna and former Shore employee, having worked as a science teacher and coach, as well as the Student and Family Diversity Education Coordinator from 2006-2010. She is the Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets at Boston Omaha Corporation, a publicly traded investment firm. She is also the Chief Executive Officer of Mac Mountain LLC, a wireless and broadband connectivity company serving rural and underserved communities, and is co-owner of Killington Distillery & The Mountain Inn. Sydney currently serves on the advisory board at uAspire and is a board member for the non-profit, SheGives. Sydney received an MBA in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from MIT Sloan School of Management, her BA in Neuroscience and Studio Art from Middlebury College, and attended St. Mark's School.

Mark Attia '95, P'29, '30
Biography
Mark is a proud alumni and the parent of two Shore students. He resides in Beverly, MA. Mark received his B.A. from Muhlenberg College and a Master of International Business (MIB) from The Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, Tufts University. He is the Director at MassHousing and the Massachusetts Community Climate Bank. Mark is passionate about housing and economic development strategies.

Chris Baker P’25, ’26, ’30
Biography
Chris is the parent of three Shore students and currently serves on the Shore Risk and Liability Committee. Chris joined Allspring Global Investments as the Global and Funds Chief Compliance Officer in December of 2022. He is responsible for the oversight and implementation of the compliance program, including regulatory guidance, monitoring, training, and policy development in support of Allspring's asset management business. Prior to joining Allspring, Chris performed various different compliance roles at State Street Global Advisors from 2010-2022, serving as the Global Chief Compliance Officer during his last 4 years. Chris initially entered the asset management business with MFS Investment Management in 1998, serving in operations and compliance roles until 2010. Chris attended Belmont Hill School, Franklin and Marshall College, and Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. He is an active member of the Beverly community.

Bethany Card P'28
Biography
Beth joined the Board of Trustees in 2023. She lives in Newburyport with her husband, Michael, and son, Crosby ‘28. Beth earned a B.A. from the University of New Hampshire and a JD from Massachusetts School of Law. She is currently a Senior Policy Advisor at Smith, Costello, and Crawford and a former cabinet secretary for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs. Beth is an experienced practitioner in government relations and energy, environmental, and climate policy. Along with volunteering with youth environmental programs, she enjoys spending time with family, hanging out at the beach, skiing and hiking in Maine, and reading.

Emily Donnan P'32, '34
Biography
Emily is the caregiver of two current Shore students and a stepdaughter in the Winchester Public Schools system, and is an active Shore volunteer, including co-chair of the Admissions Ambassador program this year. Emily holds a BA in Economics from Middlebury and an MA in International Relations & Affairs from Columbia University. Prior to staying home with her family she worked in Institutional Sales at Goldman Sachs. Emily sits on the board of the Nathaniel & Elizabeth P. Stevens Foundation based out of North Andover, a grant-making foundation with assets of $20M+ with efforts directed toward supporting and promoting education, housing, healthcare, the environment, historical preservation, the arts, and providing emergency assistance. She also sits on the board of Protect Our Past, an organization committed to the preservation, restoration, and conservation of historical properties on Cape Cod and beyond.

Kelly Kettenbach P'27, '28, '31
Biography
Kelly is a Shore parent with three children who are currently Lower School students, Wyatt ’27, Catherine ’28, and Teddie ’31. Kelly and her family live in North Andover, MA. Kelly joined Shore’s Board of Trustees in 2022, and serves on the Advancement Committee and Strategic Initiatives Committee. She previously served on The Village School Board in Boxford MA. At Shore, her additional volunteer roles include SFA Class Rep, Admissions Ambassador, and Advancement volunteer. Some of Kelly's interests include traveling, hiking, skiing, and reading.

Allison M. Levangie P'30
Biography
Allison joined the Board in 2023 and has previously volunteered at Shore as a room parent, greeter, and member of the Advancement Committee. She lives in Hamilton with her son, Daniel ‘30. Allison earned a B.S. from Syracuse University and is currently a Clinical Operations Manager at CereVasc, Inc. Allison also serves as Trustee for the Levangie Family Charitable Foundation, an organization focused on supporting educational access for populations in need. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and skiing.

Amory Logan P’32, ’34
Biography
Amory and her husband Prescott are the parents of two Shore students, Robby ‘32 and Maisie ‘34, and live in Manchester, MA. Since 2016, Amory has been a trustee and partner at Loring, Wolcott & Coolidge, a multi-family investment office and trust company. She previously spent a decade in the endowment investing space, as a member of the investment team at the Dartmouth College Investment Office and as a consultant at Cambridge Associates. She holds a BA from Dartmouth and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. She also serves on the boards of Maine Coast Heritage Trust and the Manchester-by-the-Sea Museum. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outside with family and friends.

John McVeigh P'21, '23
Biography
John is the parent of two Shore graduates, Jack ‘21 and Kelly ‘23. John and his family reside in Holderness, NH. He joined Shore’s Board of Trustees in 2023 and has also enjoyed volunteering by speaking to prospective families at Open Houses and connecting with admitted families who are considering Shore. John earned a B.S. from Merrimack College and M.M. from Duke University. He is currently the Head of School at Holderness School and was previously a teacher, varsity coach, dorm parent, advisor, and held various administrative roles in the admissions office, as well as being Director of College Counseling, Dean of Faculty, and Associate Head of School at Brooks School. John enjoys family, travel, playing and coaching basketball, cycling, golf, hiking, travel, and mentoring young educators and coaches.

Barbara Pattullo P'29, '32
Biography
Barbara is the parent of two children currently attending Shore, Millie ‘29 and Tucker ‘32. Barbara and her family live in West Newbury, MA. She joined Shore’s Board of Trustees in 2023 and serves as co-chair of the Shore Families Association. Barbara earned a B.S. from Boston University and is the Director of Training and Development at Genentech/Roche. She enjoys being active (running/weights/yoga), cooking, reading, listening to podcasts, and spending quality time with family and friends over great food.

Jenelle Ries P’25, ’27, ’29
Biography
Jenelle is the parent of two current Shore students (Dave and Lucy) and a Shore graduate (Ellie ‘25). At Shore, she has been an Admission Ambassador and also served on the Advancement and Strategic Initiative Committees for the past three years as a non-board member before joining the Board of Trustees in 2025. Jenelle has lived and worked on the Brooks School campus since 2003. She is currently an Associate Director of Admission and Financial Aid as well as an advisor, dorm parent, and thirds soccer coach. In the past she has been an English teacher, Form Dean of Students, and varsity ice hockey coach. Jenelle graduated Cum Laude from the College of the Holy Cross and then she studied at UMass Lowell where she received her M.Ed. in Educational Administration with a focus on independent schools.

Elsabel "Elsa" Rincon P'25, '30
Biography
Elsa is the caregiver of two current Shore students and currently serves as a non-trustee committee member of Shore's Equity & Inclusion Committee. Elsa is a Business Development Lending Officer at Mill Cities Community Investments and was previously a Manager of Settlement Programs at The House of the Seven Gables. She is the Founder and Director of The Welcome Immigrant Network and serves as a part-time instructor at UMass Lowell. She received a BA from Springfield College, M.Ed in Community Engagement from Merrimack College, and is currently a Ph.D. student at UMass Lowell studying International/Global Studies with a concentration on Migration/Human Rights. Elsa also serves on the Essex County Community Foundation Racial Equity Committee, the Latino Leadership Coalition, and Project Out.

Peter Spring P’26, ’28, ’31
Biography
Peter is the parent of three Shore students and has been a member of the school’s finance committee. Peter’s professional background has been in private equity investing with a focus on healthcare companies. He is currently a Partner at Bain Capital in Boston, where he has worked since 2005. He received a B.A. in Economics from Williams College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Biography
John is the parent of two Shore alumni from the classes of 2011 and 2015. He joined the board in 2021 and serves on three committees: Finance (chair), Investment (chair), and Facilities. He serves as Treasurer and is part of the Executive Committee. John is CIO of Equity Index at State Street Global Advisors.

Megan Wallace P'23, '25
Biography
Meg is a Shore parent of two boys; Oliver ’23, Peter ’25. She joined the board in 2022 and serves on the Advancement and Facilities Committees. Meg is the VP of Marketing for the Northeast Division of Comcast. Meg and her family live in Essex, MA. Meg loves to spend time on the water and has a passion for the performing arts and music.

Alex Yen '08
Biography
Alex is a Shore alumna who previously served as a Co-chair of the Shore Alumni Association, where she was an active member since its revival in 2022. Alex works as a Senior Program Manager at HubSpot, focusing on Hybrid Experience and employee engagement in a distributed work environment. She lives in Medford with her partner and their three pups, and she enjoys traveling, skiing, summer beach days in their 1967 FJ40, and playing golf with enthusiasm, if not precision.
