VFH Wins Thriller vs Fay

Shore and Fay, two talented and evenly matched teams, took turns putting up stellar defensive stands, strong passes, and nifty stickwork. Sophie had several runs down the field with cross passes destined to lead to a goal yet only to be denied. The game was knotted at 0 heading into halftime. While nerves could have taken over, Shore took the field in the second half with plenty of energy and optimism. Their resolve eventually paid off when Elsa delighted the crowd as she knocked in a goal with 10 minutes remaining. Fay was determined to keep the pressure on with powerful drives and incredible determination. However, Shore's midfield of Lucy and Georgia and defensive effort of Holly, Sarah W, Ally, Ceci, Carolyn, and Grace rose to the occasion. A big shout out to our goalies, Zori and Lily! Go Shore!
