Pure Joy in the Learning Garden

Pre-K Explores Shore’s New Water Table

After weeks of talking about Shore’s new water table, Pre-K students finally got to see it for themselves. When Mrs. Keith brought her class out to the Learning Garden, the children screamed with delight and ran to play and explore.

For the students, the visit was a chance to turn all that anticipation into hands-on discovery. They gathered around the table, experimenting with water and materials. What began as a much-anticipated visit quickly became an afternoon of curiosity, collaboration, and child-led exploration.

“It was so great to see them testing different things, and it was wonderful cooperative play,” Mrs. Keith shared. “Some kids were seeing what would sink or float, while others were making potions or gardening. They’re now all asking ‘When can we go back?’ It was pure joy!”

As students experiment and follow their own ideas, they are also learning how to share, take turns, and discover together. The water table is quickly becoming a place where Shore’s youngest learners can explore water and nature, learn alongside one another, and continue to build connections through play.
