Kiva and Galleries

At the heart of Shore’s Center for Creativity is the Kiva, a Pueblo word that means “ceremonial space.” Shore’s Kiva is a crossroads of imagination and community, where Lower School students gather for “Morning Meeting,” where families and guests mingle before and after events in the Theatre, where children work together in impromptu groups during their school day and beyond, and where constantly changing collections of beautifully arranged student works in the connected galleries provide energy and inspiration for all who enter.

Co-Director of Admissions Lee Carey

“I am still pinching myself each time I walk in the door of this remarkable place–it is truly the ultimate setting for sharing the passions and talents we seek to stretch and cultivate in our children.”
