  Sydney Atkins ’98, Panelist

  Biography
  Sydney is currently a Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets at Boston Omaha Corp (NYSE:BOC) and is the acting CEO of Mac Mountain, an innovative rural Broadband company. Sydney began her career in finance at Goldman Sachs & Co and later became Head of Private Wealth Management at Ellevest. Prior to her career in finance, Sydney was Founder/CEO of the youth lacrosse program Synergy and a teacher in the Science Department at Shore. Sydney holds an M.B.A. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology - Sloan School of Management and a B.A. from Middlebury College where she studied Neuroscience and Studio Art and played Field Hockey and Lacrosse (winning two NCAA Championships!). Sydney and her wife Caroline are also co-owners of the Mountain Inn and Killington Distillery in Vermont. They have two little girls, Sawyer and Harlow, and can often be found someplace on a mountain skiing in the winter or on the water sailing and kiteboarding in the summer months. Sydney and her family reside in Beverly Farms.

  Cara Grayer Johnson ’90, Panelist

  Biography
  Cara attributes her love for public service and international affairs from the Shore values and experiences instilled in her from a young age. Cara has been an attorney advisor and public servant at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in Washington, D.C. for nearly 25 years. Her experience includes telecommunications, regulatory, international, and consumer legal issues. In 2006-2007, Cara served as a Fulbright Scholar in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and for many years, she has served as an adjunct professor in the International Legal Studies Program at the American University Washington College of Law. Cara serves on The Winsor School Corporation Board in Boston, MA and is a former trustee of The River School and the Duke Ellington School for the Arts, both in Washington, D.C. Cara graduated from The Winsor School and earned a B.A. in English and Spanish from Spelman College. She received a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law and a M.A. in International Affairs from American University School of International Service. Cara currently resides in Washington, D.C.

  Nick Laubinger ’22, Panelist

  Biography
  Nick joined Shore in second grade and attended through his eighth grade graduation in 2021. As an Upper School student, Nick played varsity baseball and basketball. Nick currently attends Pingree School where he enjoys playing golf. Nick lives in South Hamilton with his family.

  Claire Trustey ’16, Panelist

  Biography
  Claire graduated from Shore in 2015 and graduated from Brooks School in North Andover, MA in 2019. Claire earned a B.A. in Neuroscience and Behavior and Spanish from the University of Notre Dame in 2023. As an undergraduate, Claire, a huge Notre Dame football fan, worked as a student athletic trainer for the football team. She also worked as a research assistant in the Sleep, Stress, and Memory Lab and was a tutor across disciplines for students of all ages. After graduation, Claire returned to Brooks to teach Biology and Honors Biology last fall, and Geometry this spring. She also works in the Brooks Learning Center and serves as the assistant coach for the Girls' JV Lacrosse team. Claire has a passion for helping others, and hopes to attend nursing school next year. Claire lives in North Andover and spends much of her free time running, enjoying time with family, and playing with her family’s yellow lab, Hutch.

  Elizabeth Harrigan ’92, P'25, '27, Moderator

  Biography
  Elizabeth “Weze” Harrigan is a Class of 1992 Shore graduate and a current Upper School parent. A life-long resident of the North Shore, Weze left Shore and attended Pingree School and went on to Dartmouth College. Much of Weze's time as a Shore volunteer has been focused on strategizing with current families to attract new families and interested student applicants. She currently co-chairs the Admissions Ambassador program and previously served on Shore’s Board of Trustees from 2017 through 2023. Weze, her husband Dan, and her two daughters currently live in Wenham, and her older daughter graduates from Shore this year and will head to Holderness School in New Hampshire next Fall.
