            Library
            The Library provides diverse print and digital resources to the classrooms to support units of study. The Library organizes visits from outstanding children's authors and illustrators to enhance curricula. In weekly Library classes students:

            • Listen and respond to picture books and nonfiction books
            • Learn how to use illustrations to independently enjoy a book
            • Choose books thoughtfully from a themed collection
            • Learn how to borrow, return, and care for books

          • SAIL - Pre-K 2

            • Match the child’s curiosity to science and art by utilizing different materials and equipment
            • Promote investigations and appreciation for the natural world through outdoor education
            • Observe seasonal changes in New England and making collections

          • Spanish - Pre-K 2

            The Spanish Curriculum at Shore starts in Pre-K, providing students the opportunity to learn basic foundations, repetitive vocabulary, listening skills, and high-frequency structures. Students learn Spanish most organically and naturally with comprehension input through stories, songs, culture, celebrations, photos, and games. The Spanish curriculum is cumulative and builds over time across the Lower School levels.
            In Pre-K2, students begin to learn basic level vocabulary. They use manipulatives, puppets, visual materials, and listen to short comprehensible stories, training them in listening and speaking skills.
