Learn About Shore

Open Houses & More

To really know Shore, we strongly feel that every family should take the chance to see the campus (virtually or in-person), hear about our programs, and learn about our community. Most importantly, what sets Shore apart is the people, and we encourage families to seize chances to connect with leadership, learn from our open houses, or ask for additional conversations with faculty or parents for their perspectives. We are thrilled to offer a variety of ways for families to engage with Shore to learn more and ask that you review the options available to you below. Our goal is for each family to feel well-informed and comfortably prepared to make an enrollment decision at the end of the admissions process.

Virtual Visit & Conversation

As families begin learning about Shore, they are invited to take a virtual tour and view our videos as a starting point. You can learn about highlights of the Shore experience and important details about our community. Next, we welcome you to schedule a conversation with our Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management, Daphne Faldi; to do so, please e-mail Daphne.

On-Campus Tour

After a family’s virtual visit, you are encouraged to begin the application process. With a submitted application form, adults are invited to schedule a time for an on-campus tour with Daphne Faldi, Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management. An on-campus tour is an optional part of the application process, and each family is encouraged to make the decision about a tour that is right for them. After submitting your child(ren)’s application, please schedule your tour. (Please note: on-campus tours will be limited in availability, tours will be offered in non-teaching hours, and attendees must be adults).

“Windows into Shore” with Clair Ward

This year, Shore’s Head of School, Clair Ward, is excited to continue to have the opportunity to connect with families interested in learning more about Shore! We will offer a virtual conversation with Clair for a limited group on selected Fridays from 8:30 - 9:15 a.m. Any family interested in discovering more about Shore is encouraged to join one of these conversations at any point in their Admissions process. Reserve your spot now. Advanced registration is required. For any questions, please e-mail the Admissions team.

All-School Open Houses

Our all-school open houses are geared towards families interested in any grade, Pre-K 1 through Grade 9, and will provide families with a thorough overall sense of the school. Beyond hearing from leadership, families will hear from students and parents in our community about their Shore experience.
  • Sunday, January 10 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. - Register

January Grade-Specific Information Sessions

In addition to the open houses covering all aspects of Shore, parents should consider joining us for an information session when we will focus on a subset of grades. Learn more about how life at Shore would specifically be for your child in the coming years, experience the energy of our teachers, hear about the programs and learning strategies we use in the classroom, and learn more about what makes Shore special.

We will offer separate sessions focusing on early educational years (Pre-K 1 through Grade 1), the heart of elementary school (Grade 2 through Grade 5), and middle school and freshman year (Grades 6 through Grade 9). Sessions will feature Division Heads, teachers, and parents. Advanced registration is required using the links below:
