Shore JV vs. Tower

Shore was up for the challenge despite quickly falling behind 2-0. While Tower had good reason to think they were on their way to victory in their final game of the season, Shore kept plugging away. Shore's offense was extremely patient as they controlled the ball with accurate and timely passing. Defensively, Meg H was on her game as she stopped several shots in the first half to keep Shore in the game. By halftime, Shore held a slim 4-3 lead. During the second half, the teams traded possession and Tower's stifling defense held Shore to two goals. Again, Shore's defense was up to the task with some timely stops by Cami T as well as smothering defense from Carolyn, Sarah, Hope, and Zori. Meghan C had a hat trick kind of a day with three goals while Tenley, Ally, and Lauren Z each added a goal. The team closes out the season on Thursday with a home game vs. Fay. Great win for Shore!
