Shore Varsity Softball Wins Opening Game
Shore traveled to Pingree for its first game of the season. Thankfully the rain held off, and we were able to play five full innings. The battery of Fallon and Eloise was impressive, and the team played solidly in the field, especially for so early in the season. Bella's alert catch at first base and Sarah's sharp line drive single were among the many highlights. The girls were able to take a commanding lead and then keep their poise as Pingree narrowed the gap. We look forward to another good game when Pingree comes to Shore later in the season.
