  • Director of Advancement

    Shore Country Day School (SCDS) is seeking a Director of Advancement to begin no later than July 1, 2019. This individual will join a mature development program looking to take the next strategic steps in strengthening the School.
    Key competencies include strategic thinking, change leadership, relationship management and a passion for owning and interpreting data. SCDS has a proven track record of strong annual and capital fundraising, so it will be important for us to secure experienced candidates who are comfortable creating donor-centered experiences to advance the School's mission and vision.

    The Director of Advancement is a member of the lead administrative team and works closely with the Head of School and the Board of Trustees. Founded in 1936, Shore Country Day School has a positive employee culture that fosters the pursuit of excellence for the School.

    Successful candidates will have experience in non-profit fundraising. Preference will be given to candidates with a proven track record in major gifts, planned giving, and capital fundraising.
  • Grade 1 Lead Teacher

    Vibrant school community looking to fill a first grade lead teaching position beginning in the 2019-2020 school year. Candidates with masters degrees plus experience will have preference in the search process.

    Vibrant school community looking for a middle school English teacher to begin with the 2019-2020 school year. Masters level candidates with experience are preferred.

  • Technical Theater Director (Full-Time/10 month position)

    Preferred candidates have experience with theatrical sound, lighting, scene construction, and rigging as well as interest in working with children in an elementary and middle school setting.
    Position requires strong organizational skills, willingness to work with power and hand tools, and ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, and students. Specific responsibilites are delineated in the job description, which can be found at:
