  • Lower School Teacher Assistants (PK-4)

    Shore’s PK-4 Teacher Assistant positions offer new and aspiring teachers an entry-level opportunity in independent education. Assistants support their lead teachers in all aspects of their professional responsibilities. Assistants gain significant instructional experience. An additional major responsibility of the assistant is to provide lead instruction and supervision for the Shore after-school program. Assistant positions include salary and benefits.

  • Upper School Learning Specialist

    Shore seeks a part or full-time Learning Specialist to support students in Grades Six through Nine as well as their classroom teachers. This is a part or full-time position because it may or may not include teaching a section of seventh grade Language Arts to students who have historically experienced difficulty with reading comprehension and written expression.
    In addition to exceptional skills and experience in working with middle school students who require academic support, Shore seeks someone with an entrepreneurial spirit. The ideal candidate will be able to help the school think creatively about and plan carefully for the future of academic support in a nurturing but challenging and fast-paced independent school.
