Summer 2021 COVID-19 Information

Shore Country Day School is taking proactive measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the novel coronavirus, in our communities.

Shore summer camps will be staffed and equipped to anticipate and adhere to the health and safety protocols and regulatory standards established by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) as well as the local Beverly Board of Health. We will follow all health and safety guidelines provided in order to minimize the possible transmission of COVID-19 in our summer camp community.

Guiding Principles for Returning to Camp

  • The health, safety, and social-emotional well-being of our camp children, families, and employees guide all of our decision-making.
  • Our decisions are informed by proven data, scientific knowledge, and guidance from the medical community and local, state, and federal public health organizations, as well as our Administration and COVID-19 Task Force.
  • Shore reserves the right to change the daily summer camp itinerary to accommodate the changing pandemic landscape and changing recommendations and guidelines from the authorities.
  • Shore's summer camps' success requires constant vigilance from our camp families, employees, and campers in avoiding behaviors that lead to the spread of the virus.
