Camp Invention Summer Program at Shore

This summer, Shore is hosting two separate, exciting, and different weeks of Camp Invention! Camp Invention is a full day, STEM-focused summer program that turns curious students into innovative thinkers. Registration is now open for sessions from June 24-28 and August 19-23. Sign up today!

Camp Invention is a nationally acclaimed summer program where STEM concepts come to life. Led by local teachers, this program has tapped into kids' natural curiosity since 1990, giving them the opportunity to become innovators through teamwork and immersive, hands-on creative problem-solving.

Grades:
When:June 24-28 (Week One); 
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (with options for before and/or after camp childcare)
Cost: $275 (additional fees for childcare)

Week One: SUPERCHARGED
Students will design underwater equipment, build ships, and dig up fossils on an undersea adventure; become farm managers and learn fundamental robotics coding techniques to maximize your time and profits; and team up with members of Innovation Force to design, buld, and market an invention to thwart an evil villain.

Week Two: LAUNCH
Students will work with teams to transform the terrain and ecosystem of a distant exoplanet. They will take risks , create plans as budding business owners, blast rockets, air cannons, and rubber chickens, and wire a circuit to create their own Spy Gadget Alarm Box!

Students will also play innovative outdoor games and learn about circuit boards, motors, gears, and reverse engineering!
