Shore Extends Win Streak to Two

Shore continued to play solid all around baseball on Friday, beating Fay by a score of 10-0.  Spencer Johnson once again came out and threw a gem, giving up just 2 hits in two innings, and striking out 6.  Johnson has now struck out 16 batters in his last 6 innings pitched.  This time is was Biebsheimer in relief, striking out the final 3 batters of the game.  The Beavers hit just as well as they pitched, scoring 10 runs on 12 hits.  Johnson and Wells Goltra hit ground rule doubles down the line in left, both just feet from being home runs.  Sam Borggaard added a triple in the first inning, followed by a Sam Moore double four batters later.  In the final inning of play, Shore pieced together 4 consecutive singles by Charles Hoffman, Ben Nissanbaum, Will Smith, and Chris Pelletier.  Shore looks to continue to play solid team baseball as they head to Lexington to face off against LCA on Tuesday afternoon.
