Strong Pitching Leads Shore to Victory

Shore Country day faced off against Pike, winning by a score of 7-1.  Spencer Johnson pitched four strong innings, striking out 10 batters.  Sam Borggaard came in for the hold, striking out 3 more batters in an inning of relief.  The Shore bats came out in full force as well, scoring six runs in the first, and one more in the third.  Kelan Biebsheimer continued his hot streak at the plate, going 2-3 with a double and a single.  Johnson helped his own cause, reaching base three times on two walks and a single.  The Beavers look to continue their win streak on Friday when they host Fay.
