Winter Concert Warms with Global Melodies

"Warming Up the Wintertime," Shore's 2017 Winter Concert, featured songs from near and far, performed in four languages. Conductors Jenn Boyum and Alex Asacker took audiences on a journey around the world, as students in every grade from Pre-K 1 to nine sung of Mexico, Africa, and Israel. Tunes with lyrics in Spanish and Hawaiian had listeners at the twin performances on December 14 thinking of warmer weather, while songs in English and Hebrew warmed the heart.
