Chloe Rourke-Nicholas '16

Where do you live and what do you do?

I’m from Salem Massachusetts but am currently at boarding school in Meriden, NH.

Why do you choose to support Shore and The Shore Fund each year?

I choose to support the Shore Fund because Shore has given me an amazing education that has helped me succeed in high school. In addition, I met some of my best friends at Shore due to the strong community and amazing opportunities that the school gives its students.

What inspired you to make your first gift as a Shore graduate?

I wanted to give back to the place that shaped who I am as a person. I went to shore for nine years, and in those nine years I have had some of the best teachers and friends anyone could have.

What schools did you attend after Shore? How did Shore prepare you for future learning and your career?

I currently go to Kimball Union Academy in Meriden, NH. The skills I acquired while at Shore have allowed me to succeed at KUA, and have prepared me for my future education.

Do you have a favorite memory as a Shore student?

My favorite memory as a Shore student was probably either the Hosmer point trip, or all of the fun activities that we did in my Kindergarten class, including spaghetti day, camping day, and having bears come stay with us from Romania.
