Alex Rosati: Summer Shore Day Camp Director

I am so excited to return to Summer Shore again this year and I am looking forward to creating a summer program filled with lots of activities, smiles, and laughs!
Currently, I am a Lead Pre-K Teacher at Cocoons Day School in Kennebunk, Maine. My connection to Shore was as a Teaching Assistant in both Pre-K 1 and Kindergarten classrooms. Working with children has always been my passion.

My first job was a Camp Counselor at the Ipswich YMCA when I was 15 years old. Over the summers, I continued to work as a Camp Counselor, eventually becoming Camp Director at Camp Cedar Mill in Rowley, MA. I attended Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT, where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education.

I live in Newburyport with my family and two dogs, Elsie and Cisco. I love to take my dogs for walks along the water in the summertime. During my free time, I like to ski, read books, play games, and dance! One of my favorite summer activities is going to the beach.
