Support Shore

At Our Finest Campaign

Community, Connection, Creativity

Vision is the first step in achieving excellence. In 1936 when Shore was founded, the school's vision was to provide an academic standard of excellence while fostering the love of learning, character, and creativity. At Shore Country Day School, our goal is to maintain our position of excellence in the education community and to be the school of choice on the North Shore. We will do that by modernizing our facilities to create flexible and adaptable venues for our arts. We will invest in our program to cultivate innovative, forward-thinking leaders with a global perspective connecting us beyond ourselves. We will strengthen our endowment to allow us to continue to attract the best and brightest faculty and students and to ensure our financial stability. Where there is commitment, there is excellence. As a community, we can realize our vision and achieve excellence. Join us At Our Finest!

Modernizing our Facilities

We will be at our finest through the creation of flexible and adaptable space. By investing in our program, we will cultivate innovative, forward-thinking leaders with a global perspective connecting us beyond the walls of a traditional classroom.

Investing in our Programs

We will be at our finest by providing a challenging educational program for children from Pre-K through Grade Nine as we seek to create a stimulating learning experience for our students. We recognize the various developmental stages of children as they grow, and working in partnership with the family, Shore encourages academic, personal, creative, and physical development consistent with each child's potential. By developing a willingness in each child to take appropriate risks in such a supportive learning environment, we inspire in our students a genuine love of learning.

Strengthening the Endowment

We will be at our finest when we strengthen our endowment thereby increasing financial stability, the ability to maintain academic excellence through our program and curricular design, and the ability to attract and retain the best teachers for our children. A robust endowment allows us to attract the best and brightest students who desire a Shore education, and it allows us a competitive edge when we endow faculty chairs and facilities management.

I know that my Shore education prepared me well for life after Shore; I have been impressed by how well Shore has kept up with the times and enhanced its programs and facilities to ensure that its students are more than prepared for the next phases of their lives.
