Upper School Music

Our music suite includes state-of-the-art classrooms, three practice studios, and a digital music lab. The Lower School and Upper School music rooms each have class sets of iPads outfitted with the latest in music education apps.

The Upper School Music Room is set up for daily choral rehearsals and offers students a class set of electric keyboards and guitars.

Jennifer Boyum, Upper School Music Director

Music is not ancillary, it is indispensable to the well-rounded cognitive, emotional, and expressive development of children. Whether listening, singing, playing instruments, or using technology to create sound, the aim of the Upper School music program is to develop, to the fullest extent possible, every student’s capacity to experience and create music.
