Grade 9 Assessment

Shore’s goal in screening applicants for any grade level is a happy and successful placement in our educational community. Grade 9 candidates visit class from 8:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., during which teachers and administrators have ample time to get acquainted with your child.

Candidates to Grade 9 are also required to submit ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam) or SSAT scores. The ISEE is offered at various schools on the North Shore, including Shore. Shore offers the ISEE on January 27, 2018, but it can be taken anywhere it is offered. The fee for the ISEE is paid directly to ISEE at the time of registration.

For Grade 9 candidates who have already completed either ISEE or SSAT testing, simply add Shore Country Day School as a test score recipient. Our school code is 222638.

Registering for Class Visiting
An Admissions application must be submitted prior to registering for a visit day. Visitors should arrive at the Admissions Office to meet their Shore student host for the day. There is no fee for the visit day.

To schedule a student visit for candidates to Grade 9, please contact Ali Jahn at ajahn@shoreschool.org.
