Chris Davenport ‘86, one of the world’s preeminent big mountain skiers, will speak to all Shore students on December 13th as part of Shore’s ongoing Alumni Speaker Series.

 

Chris's visit to Shore follows the London premiere of a ski film in which he is featured and a visit with the Royal Geographic Society! Chris is also a two-time World Extreme Skiing Champion who skied all fifty-four Colorado 14,000+ foot peaks in less than a year. In addition to his skiing prowess, Chris is an author, a contributor to several sports publications, a featured athlete in ski films by both Warren Miller and Matchstick Productions, and a sports commentator.

 

Chris’s visit to Shore comes at a perfect time for Lower School students who are embracing the theme of “courage” this year.

 

This event could not have happened without the help of Pam Albright who worked alongside Advancement Staff member Joanne Harder to bring Chris to Shore.
