Grade 8 Theater Elective Presents 'Anne-Arky'

On November 17, eighth grade students in the new one-act play elective course "Page to Stage" performed Anne-Arky, by Lindsay Price.

In this back-stage comedy, a high school drama club prepares for their opening night of Anne of Green Gables. But while the performance starts out normally enough, a rumor that there is an acting agent in the audience causes mayhem. Wigs fall off, ankles are sprained, and the stage manager sets fire to the script.

The one-act play elective course, taught by Sarah Carlin, is part of a series of new arts offerings. Also new this trimester were digital photography, 3D stained glass, and oil painting.
